On November 7, 2022, the review meeting of “Rules for Compilation of Building Maintenance Unit Use and Maintenance Manual” and “Safety Rules for Inspection, Maintenance and Operation of Suspended Platform and Building Maintenance Unit for Working at Heights” edited by our company was held combined online and offline.

More than 30 representatives from the editor-in-chief, members of the compilation team and 9 review experts attended the meeting.
The meeting was hosted by the Decoration and Aerial Work Machinery Branch of China Construction Machinery Industry Association.
The meeting established a review expert group headed by Dexiong Cao, Secretary-General of Shanghai Construction Machinery Industry Association.

Jinxing Wang, Deputy Secretary-General of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, delivered a speech first.
He briefly introduced the situation and achievements of the association’s work on group standards in recent years, and pointed out that the compilation of this standard is of great significance in promoting the progress of industry services and guiding the normative operation of personnel.

Donghong Wang, president of the branch, in his speech, thanked the association, the editor-in-chief, all participating units, and experts for their support and dedication to the standard compilation work.
He said that he will strictly follow the relevant requirements of the “Group Standard Management Measures” to complete the standard review and approval work, control the technology, and lead the high-quality development of the industry with high-quality standards.

The editor-in-chief Peng Li and Zichao Hao, on behalf of the compilation team, reported the compilation process and main content of the two standards,”Rules for Compilation of Building Maintenance Unit Use and Maintenance Manual” and “Safety Rules for Inspection, Maintenance and Operation of Suspended Platform and Building Maintenance Unit for Working at Heights”.
Both standards have been extensively researched, drawing on relevant domestic and foreign standards and product experience. And it is of great significance to the installation, use, maintenance of the Building Maintenance Unit, and to promote the standardized operation of the equipment and reduce accidents, which will produce better social benefits.
The formulation and implementation of the two standards will provide supporting support for the implementation of relevant national and industry standards, and further improve the standardization system in the professional fields of Building Maintenance Unit and suspended platform for working at heights.

The review team and representatives listened carefully to the introduction of the standard preparation process and content by the preparation team, and reviewed the standard content item by item.
They agreed that the content of the two standards is scientific and reasonable, highly operable, and consistent with the current relevant standards, reaching the domestic advanced level and the domestic leading level respectively, and agreed to pass the review.
The follow-up preparation team will revise and improve according to the review opinions of the meeting, and complete the standard approval work as soon as possible.
